Getting started
Do I need to buy a device?
No. Any phone, tablet or laptop with a browser works. The owner's dashboard installs on your phone with one tap.
Is it right for my business?
Yes, if you run a restaurant, café, pharmacy, grocery, butcher, clinic, salon, gym, court, or any booking-based service. The Sectors page has a live example for each.
How long does setup take?
You sign up in minutes, add your menu or your services and prices, and print your QR code. You can finish the rest of the settings while you are already running.
What if I need help?
Message us on WhatsApp +20 109 097 9777. Every screen also has a "?" button with step-by-step help.
Orders
Does my customer need to download anything?
No. They scan the code, the menu opens in their phone's browser, and they order, with nothing to download.
How does an order reach me?
It arrives on the owner's dashboard in order and you confirm it with one tap. Your customer follows the order on a tracking page.
Can I change the look and prices myself?
Yes. From your dashboard you can switch theme, colour and font, and edit items and prices any time. Changes show right away.
Does every table get its own code?
Yes. A QR code for every table on every plan; the customer scans it and orders.
Bookings
Can I take bookings with set times?
Yes. You list your services and prices, the customer picks a service and a time, and you confirm from the owner's dashboard.
Can I book a court or a room by the hour?
Yes. Every court, room or table has an hourly price, and a customer cannot book an hour that is taken.
Can it handle memberships and sessions?
Yes, for gyms, trainers and physiotherapy: session packages, every visit deducts one, and the trainee sees what is left from a private link.
Payment
How do I get paid?
InstaPay or mobile wallet. Customers transfer straight to your own account and send the screenshot, and you confirm. Akkd never touches your money.
Is there a commission?
None. You pay a fixed plan, or stay on the free plan up to 100 orders a month.
Plans
What happens after the 14 free days?
You get 14 days free on the plan you pick, no card. After that your shop goes back to Free by itself and nothing is taken from you. If you want to keep going, you pay.
Is the launch discount on the monthly plan too?
No. It is on the yearly plan only, for the first 50 shops, for the first year: Plus EGP 1,495 instead of 2,990, Pro EGP 2,995 instead of 5,990, Premium EGP 4,995 instead of 9,990. After the first year it is the normal yearly price.
When is my spot among the first 50 held?
With your first paid invoice — not when you sign up. Starting free does not take a spot.
What does «No limit*» mean?
The paid plans have no cap on orders. It is under the fair-use clause in the terms, so the plan stays fair for everyone.
Branches
Can I add a branch?
Yes, on Pro and Premium: EGP 199 a month per extra branch. On Plus and need two branches? Move to Pro.
How many branches does a plan include?
Free and Plus: one branch. Pro: 2 branches. Premium: 3 branches. Each extra branch is EGP 199 a month on Pro and Premium.
Delivery
Basic or advanced delivery?
Basic (Plus) is for one fixed fee. Advanced (Pro and Premium) is for many areas with their own prices, a minimum and a time per area. Delivery is optional for every shop.
Which plans have delivery?
Free: no delivery. Plus: basic delivery. Pro and Premium: advanced delivery. Delivery is optional for every shop.
Does Akkd deliver the orders?
No. Akkd keeps your customer's address, the delivery fee and the order status in order for your shop, and your own rider does the delivery.
Privacy
Whose data is my customers' data?
Yours. Akkd keeps it only to run your shop, and everything is explained on the privacy page.
Does Akkd send WhatsApp messages to my customers by itself?
No. Nothing is sent automatically. WhatsApp opens from a link and you are the one who taps send.
